The Vienna Town Board met on September 10, 2026 at the Town Hall, at 7:00 p.m. President Kirk Roberts called the meeting to order. Richard Clark and Kirk Roberts were president.
The minutes from the August meeting were read. Roberts made a motion to approve the minutes. Seconded by Clark. Motion carried.
An Internal Audit by the Department of Legislative Audit has been ongoing. The Town had a Loss Control Report done by the Insurance Company. There were several items that were listed that need to be taken care of. A motion was made by Roberts to accept the Loss Control Report. Seconded by Clark. Motion carried.
Clark made a motion to following bills. Seconded by Roberts. Kirk Roberts $392.49; Lue Regnier $392.49; Richard Clark $392.49; Nancy Roberts, wages, mowing $738.89; Clark County Courier $24.25; Sioux Rural Water, Fire Dept., $990.90; NW Energy, street lights, $766.93; NW Energy, town hall, $98.58; Witt Rolloff $416.00; Watertown Lawn and Garden, maintenance of Arien mower $323.00. A motion was made by Clark to pay the bills. Seconded by Roberts. Motion carried.
Richard Clark presented the Board with a letter of resignation. This will become effective October 08, 2026.
The Fire Dept. was represented at the meeting concerning insurance, fund raising and using the hall for a Pheasant Party. The insurance issues were tabled until the October meeting.
The next meeting will be October 08, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall.
Clark made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Roberts. Motion carried.
