The Raymond Town Board met in a regular meeting September 8, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. Members present were Gale Filipek and Bill Noethlich. Absent Eric Mehlberg. Also present Darrin Leetch and Carrie Reis.
The meeting was called to order. The financials and minutes were approved with a motion by Filipek and seconded by Noethlich. The following claims were paid: NW Energy 603.69; Cook's Waste 480.03; Darrin Leetch 377.88; Carrie Reis 454.84; Clark Courier 70.72; Postmaster 80.00; Bill Noethlich 406.34; Gale Filipek 304.76; Eric Mehlberg 304.76; Dakota Portable Toilets 250.00; ITC 37.69; Dakota Pump Control 575.00, annual inspection.
The finance officer presented the second reading on Appropriation Ordinance #2026. Noethlich made a motion to approve the second reading with Filipek seconding.
The bathroom project at the city park is coming along and will be done soon. The board discussed the monthly utility fees and who would be responsible. Filipek made a motion to approve the town paying the monthly utility fees for the city park, and Noethlich seconded. If the monthly fees become more than what was discussed with the Raymond Redwing Days committee, the board will revisit the commitment with the committee.
Darrin Leetch reported he will be attending a small waste system class in October.
Reports were given on property maintenance and delinquent utility accounts.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned with a motion by Filipek and seconded by Noethlich.
