The Vienna Town Board met at the Town Hall on July 09, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. President Kirk Roberts called the meeting to order. Members present were Kirk Roberts, Richard Clark and Nancy Roberts, Finance Officer (FO).
Matt Vandersnick was present to update the Board about Elevator Days. The Town will gain help with the bouncy house and the garbage rolloff.
Clark make a motion to pay the bills and Roberts seconded it. Bills paid are NW Energy, Town Hall, $96.30; NW Energy, Fire Dept., $113.05; NW Energy, street lights, $751.02; Sioux Rural Water, Fire Dept., $74.65; Ron's Saw Shop, maintenance of weed wacker, $169.93; Clark County Weed and Pest, mosquito fogging, $114.70; Preston Roberts, mowing, cleaning hall, $275.00; Nancy Roberts, wages, mowing and cleaning hall, $563.75; Clark County Courier $42.98.
One applicant had applied for the part-time blade operator position. Darwin Torstenson was interviewed by the Board. Clark made a motion to hire him, and Roberts seconded it. He will work as a part-time/on-call employee.
The next meeting of the Vienna Board will be August 13, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. Clark made a motion to adjourn and Roberts seconded it.
