SPECIAL MEETING WILLOW LAKE CITY COUNCIL
Monday, March 16, 2026
The City Council for the City of Willow Lake, S.D. met in special session on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 6:40 p.m. in the Community Center.
Mayor Delwin Bratland called the meeting to order.
Members present at roll call were Steve Johnson, Jacob Edleman and Scott Borg (via telephone). Absent Leland Harding III. Finance Officer Heidi Madsen was also present.
Also in attendance was Julayne Thoreson.
Quotes for museum repair were reviewed. Johnson moved, seconded by Edleman to approve the quote from McDaniels Masonry for tuckpointing on exterior of museum. The council previously approved $4,000 to put towards the repairs. All voted aye.
Julayne Thoreson, on behalf of the Willow Lake Museum board, expressed her gratitude towards the city for helping to fund the improvements on the building.
Johnson moved to adjourn at 6:52 p.m., seconded by Edleman. All voted aye.
Next regular council meeting will be held Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Center.
