The Clark County Commissioners met in regular session on Friday, July 28, 2026 in the Commissioner Room of the Clark County Courthouse. Chairman Gjerde called the special meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. with the following Commissioners present at the Courthouse: Chris Sass, Francis Hass, David Spieker, Terry Schlagel and Sara Gjerde present via zoom. Also present Auditor Tarbox.
AGENDA: Motion by Hass seconded by Sass to approve the July 28, 2026 agenda. All voting aye. Motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: Motion by Sass, second by Spieker to enter into Executive session at 8:02 a.m. as per SDCL 1-25-2 (1). All voting aye. Motion carried. Chairman declared out at 8:52 a.m.
CANVASS PRIMARY RUNOFF ELECTION: The board conducted a canvass of the Primary Governor runoff election.
BUDGET: The board spent time reviewing the 2027 Budget.
AJOURN: Motion by Schagel, second by Spieker to adjourn the meeting at 10:55 a.m. Next regular meeting Tuesday, August 4, 2026. All voting aye. Motion carried.
