The Vienna Town Board met on August 13, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. Members present were Kirk Roberts, Richard Clark and Lue Regnier. President Kirk Roberts called the meeting to order.
Matt Vandersnick from the Vienna Fire Department requested to be put on the agenda in regard to insurance issues. Several firemen and residents were present. Vandersnick talked about the insurance issues. A motion was made by Regnier and seconded by Clark to reimburse the fire department for the insurance payment they made.
A motion was also made by Regnier and seconded by Clark to have an Internal Audit of the Board.
The Board donated $300 to the Elevator Bar for the bouncy house at Elevator Days.
The roads were discussed. They will be fixed and maintained by the Town.

The Town of Vienna is covered by S.D. Public Assurance Alliance Insurance (including general liability, automotive liability, liability on the Vienna Town owned buildings and Workmen's Compensation).
The next meeting of the Town Board will be September 10, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. A motion to adjourn was made by Regnier and seconded by Clark.
