7.15.26 Town of Bradley Board July Minutes

The Town Board of Bradley held their regular meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center.

In attendance were President Beckie Caulfield, Trustees Steve Waege and Amy Hopkins. Finance Officer Heidi Madsen was also present. Community members present: Keith Hopkins.

President Caulfield called meeting to order. Trustee Waege moved, seconded by Trustee Hopkins to approve the agenda. Motion carried.

No one present for public comment.

Trustee Hopkins moved, seconded by Trustee Waege to approve June 17, 2026 regular meeting minutes. Motion carried.

President Caulfield moved, seconded by Trustee Hopkins to approve July claims. Motion carried. Benthin Blading $500.00, blading streets; Clark County Courier $22.12, proceedings; Cook's Wastepaper $507.61, garbage; Clark Rural Water $96.00, purchased water; Northwestern Energy $1,040.93, utilities; Performance Oil $408.48, propane, tank rent; S.D. Dept. of Revenue $258.26, sales tax; U.S. Dept. of Treasury $333.50, employment taxes; BL Construction $59.65, repairs; Jim Caulfield $63.68, flags; Amy Hopkins $102.96, salary, supplies; Steve Waege $92.35, salary; Beckie Caulfield $92.35, salary; Heidi Madsen $392.49, salary.

Finance Report:
Trustee Waege moved, seconded by President Caulfield to approve financial report. Motion carried.

Old Business:
No old business.

New Business:
Oath of Office was given to Trustee Hopkins for her three-year term.

Town Board was provided and reviewed the Conducting the Public's Business in Public brochure prepared by the S.D. Attorney General's Office in partnership with the S.D. NewsMedia Association.

Former bank building was discussed.

Trustee Hopkins moved, seconded by Trustee Waege to adjourn meeting at 7:42 p.m. Motion carried.

Next meeting scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the Community Center.
