Justin D. Stanley, age 50 of Watertown, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at his residence in Watertown. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Cornerstone Church in Watertown. Pastor March Tracy will officiate. The funeral service will be live-streamed via the Cornerstone Church website.

Visitation will be held at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. with a time of sharing at 7:00 P.M. and prior to the funeral on Friday.

Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Clark. Military graveside honors will be conducted by Clark County Post #60 of the American Legion and the Military Funeral Honors Team of the S.D. Army National Guard. Active pallbearers will be Tom Paulson, Riley Anderson, Mason Evans, Luke Smith, Shane Spooner and Rick Hoff.

Justin was born on October 28, 1975, to Dale Stanley and Marcia S.D. Justin began his education at Clark Grade School before graduating from Watertown High School in 1994. Justin continued his studies at Mitchell Technical Institute and graduated in 1999.

Justin served his county in the U.S. Army. After completing basic training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at motor operating school, he was deployed to Kuwait from 2003 to 2004 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Following his military service, he returned home to work as a lineman in Watertown.

In 2003, Justin married Angie Fischbach. Together, they raised two daughters, Olivia and Ashley, who were his greatest pride and joy.

Justin was happiest when he was fishing, hunting or out on the open road on his motorcycle. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his friends and family.

He is survived by his two daughters: Olivia (Mason Evans) Stanley of Watertown and Ashley (Riley Anderson) Stanley of Watertown; mother Marcia (Rae) Hamner of Watertown; brother Corey (Jamie) Stanley and children Parker and Jasper, all of Sioux Falls; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Justin preceded in death by his father, Dale Stanley and his grandparents, Wayne and Arlene Keyes and Evert and Helen Stanley.
