Inktober 2024 (Days 25-31)

Introduction

Welcome to my corner! Last week, I shared my Day 17-23 creations for Inktober 2024. This week, I have the last of my creations for your viewing pleasure. I hope they inspire you to create as well!

It's not too late! I want you to participated in Inktober too! Anyone can do it, young and old! And, guess what? Our top three favorite Inktober subscriber submissions will each get $10.00 and free candy! (Because of course, it's Halloween!) They'll also be published in the November 6 edition of the Clark County Courier.

(Website) Inktober rules:
1) Make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if you want).
2) Post it**
3) Hashtag it with #inktober and #inktober2024
4) Repeat
Note: you can do it daily, or go the half-marathon route and post every other day, or just do the 5K and post once a week. What ever you decide, just be consistent with it. Inktober is about growing and improving and forming positive habits, so the more you're consistent the better.

That's it! Now, go make something beautiful!

**Post it on any social media account you want or just post it on your refrigerator. The point is to share your art with someone. 🙂

We'd all love to see your art!

Submit them though Facebook (either tag us @Clark County Courier [make sure your post privacy setting is public] or send them to us through a message), email them to us (clarkcountycourier@gmail.com) or drop them off with us at our office!

Now get to work! And good luck!

Without further ado, here are my last creations for Inktober 2024.

Inktober 2024

Day 24, Expedition: pretty simple. Wasn't very inspired for this one.

Day 25, Scarecrow: I was watching Halloween-esque movies this weekend while I was finishing these drawings. I wanted to make my scarecrow scary, or as scary as I could.

Day 26, Camera: I thought I was going to have to just draw a camera for this, but I really didn't want to, so I went with a friendly selfie.

Day 27, Road: At this point I was really tired of drawing roads and the like for Inktober, so this one is simple and uninspired.

Day 28, Jumbo: I was always going to draw an elephant for this prompt. Just wasn't sure what it should be doing. That didn't last long as I just had to think about Dumbo and "Pink Elephants on Parade."

Day 29, Navigator: Wasn't sure what to do with this one at first. Google helped me come up with the idea of a lighthouse.

Day 30, Violin: Again, I didn't really want to just draw a violin, so I inspired one. I got really bored with the prompts this year unfortunately. There weren't many that struck a chord of creativity within me. And so, we have the Pyramids of Giza for my last Inktober creation.
