Clarice M. Cold, 90 of Chillicothe, Ill., passed away Friday, January 9, 2026, at 7:38 A.M. at her home in Chillicothe.
Visitation was Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Chillicothe Bible Church. Funeral services followed at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Pastor Karl Anderson officiated. Burial was in the Henry Cemetery, Henry. Memorials may be directed to her church. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home of Henry, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
Clarice was born April 9, 1935, in Clark, S.D., to George and Orva (Wika) Huffman. She married Marlin Seiler in 1954. She later married Wally Cold in 1983. He preceded her in death on October 15, 2009.
Clarice was a very active Member of the Chillicothe Bible Church, where she was involved in many groups and activities. She worked as the office manager for many years at the Putnam grain elevator. She enjoyed quilting, reading and gardening and spending time with her family.
Surviving her are her children, Lori Hartwig of Henry, Ill.; De Ann Rohloff of Aubron Hills, Mich.; Jay Seiler of Chillicothe, Ill.; Kent (Leslie) Seiler of Princeville, Ill.; Joan (Jim) Noramczyk of Princeton, Ill.; Deborah (Tom) Olson of Shorewood, Ill.; Christian (Susan) Cold of Ladysmith, Wisc.; Jennifer (Michael) Kopina of Oswego, Ill.; Laura (Allan) Koener of Washington, Ill.; Craig (Patricia) Cold of Stacy, Minn.; and Mark Cold of Rochester, N.Y.; 37 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jeanette (the late Harold) Keyes of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Shirley (the late Ray) Johnson of Bradenton, Fla.
Clarice's parents, one son Randal Seiler and a son-in-law Ed Hartwig preceded her in death.
