Georgia was born on October 12, 1920 in Wessington Springs, S.D., the daughter of Grover and Eva Audrey Miller.
On July 5, 1942, she was united in marriage to Franklin Fite in the Shakespeare Gardens in Wessington Springs. Georgia and Frank had two daughters, Pam and Paula. The couple moved to Clark in the mid-1960s and then to Presho and finally back to Clark for good.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Georgia enjoyed being a homemaker, going to Arizona in the winters after Frank's retirement, hiking and most of all square dancing. Second to none, though, was the love of her husband of over 69 years. Georgia had a blessed and happy life, was loved and respected by all who knew her.
Grateful for having shared in her life are her daughter, Paula Bruce of Deerfield Beach Fla.; grandchildren Dawn, Mac, Kari and Kip; and great-grandchildren Deiyondra, Kyle, Tawni, Corbin, Maximillion, Audrey May, Shawn and Samuel, who shares her birthday; and several great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Jerry Miller.
Preceding in her death were her husband, Frank; her parents; brother Luther "Barney" Miller; sister Maxine Miller Martin; and daughter, Pam.
