Introduction
Welcome to my corner! Last week, I shared my Day 3-9 creations for Inktober 2024. This week, I have seven more for your viewing pleasure. I hope they inspire you to create as well!
I want you to participated in Inktober too! Anyone can do it, young and old! And, guess what? Our top three favorite Inktober subscriber submissions will each get $10.00 and free candy! (Because of course, it's Halloween!) They'll also be published in the November 6 edition of the Clark County Courier.

(Website) Inktober rules:
1) Make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if you want).
2) Post it**
3) Hashtag it with #inktober and #inktober2024
4) Repeat
Note: you can do it daily, or go the half-marathon route and post every other day, or just do the 5K and post once a week. What ever you decide, just be consistent with it. Inktober is about growing and improving and forming positive habits, so the more you're consistent the better.
That's it! Now, go make something beautiful!
**Post it on any social media account you want or just post it on your refrigerator. The point is to share your art with someone.
If we get enough submissions, I'll open it up to voting in office and online! So, please participate! We'd all love to see your art! Submit them through Facebook (either tag us @ Clark County Courier or send them to us through a message), email them to us (clarkcountycourier@gmail.com) or drop them off with us at our office!
Now, get to work! And, good luck to all of you!
Without further ado, here are my creations for Inktober 2024 Day 10-16.
Inktober 2024
Day 10, Nomadic: I wasn't sure what I was going to do for 'nomadic' until I searched it up and got a few gnome pictures mixed in. Then, here we are blessed with a gnome with a bindle!
Day 11, Snacks: This is one of my favorite creations so far. I didn't want to just draw a snack sitting there. I wanted to make it more interesting somehow. How about a cute little character eating a snack? Bingo! Popcorn because I was watching Halloween movies.

Day 12, Remote: Again, I didn't want to just draw a T.V. remote or some other kinds of remote. Then, I thought about islands. Tada! Remote island. And the return of cute character.
Day 13, Horizon: Basic and simple.

Day 14, Roam: I knew I wanted to draw a dinosaur(s), I just didn't know how I was going to do it. I couldn't get the perspective I wanted for my first try, so I went with a baby dinosaur next to his parents' footprints instead. I like this idea a lot better.
Day 15, Guidebook: I didn't for the life of me know what to do for the guidebook, and for once the internet didn't help. And with lack of inspiration comes despair. So, I used that. A crying character reading a guidebook.
Day 16, Grungy: I looked up the definition for grungy, and it said grimy and dirty. But, the only thing I could think of was grunge as a music genre. Skull and cross bone then.

Please share your Inktober creations with us! Tell us how and why you created what you did. Submit them through Facebook (either tag us @Clark County Courier or send them to us through a message), email them to us (clarkcountycourier@gmail.com) or drop them off with us at our office! Come back next week for the next seven days worth of art!
