9.2.26 Town of Bradley Board August Minutes

The Town Board of Bradley held their regular meeting on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center.

In attendance were President Beckie Caulfield, Trustees Steve Waege and Amy Hopkins. Finance Officer Heidi Madsen were also present. Community members present: Keith Hopkins.

President Caulfield called meeting to order. Trustee Hopkins moved, seconded by Trustee Waege to approve the agenda. Motion carried.

No one present for public comment.

President Caulfield moved, seconded by Trustee Waege to approve July 8, 2026, regular meeting minutes. Motion carried.

Trustee Waege moved, seconded by Trustee Hopkins to approve August claims. Motion carried. Clark County Courier $27.98, proceedings; Cook's Wastepaper $507.61, garbage; Clark Rural Water $96.00, purchased water; Northwestern Energy $1,007.82, utilities; Total Epoxy Systems $23,214.33, comm center floor repair; Woodring Plumbing $1,750.01, repairs; Webster Ace $143.10, supplies; Ryan Caulfied $199.22, reimb supplies; George's Sanitation $689.38, roll-off; Amy Hopkins $102.96, salary; Beckie Caulfield $698.26, salary, reimb supplies; Heidi Madsen $392.49, salary.

Finance Report:
Trustee Waege moved, seconded by Trustee Hopkins to approve financial report. Motion carried.

President Caulfield opened the public hearing for Resolution 01-26 Resolution Approving the Lease of Real Property Located at Lots 8 & 9, Block 1, Original Bradley, S.D.

No one present for public hearing.

Public hearing closed.

Trustee Hopkins moved, seconded by Trustee Waege to approve Resolution 01-26. Motion carried.

Old Business:
Former bank building was discussed.

New Business:
Animals at large were discussed. An ordinance will be reviewed at next regular meeting regarding the prohibition against allowing animals at large in town.

Trustee Hopkins moved, seconded by Trustee Waege to adjourn meeting at 6:29 p.m. Motion carried.

Next meeting scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the Community Center.
