Christopher was born on December 5, 1968. He was the fifth child of Albert "Bert" and Mary Elaine (Remily) Rahm. He was a fun and creative grandson, son and brother who grew up on the family farm west of Turton. He attended the Special Education programs in both Clark and Doland and participated in various South Dakota Special Olympics programs and sports, of which basketball was his favorite. He was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
As a young boy, Chris enjoyed helping out his dad on the farm. Chris later moved and spent a short time at the South Dakota Developmental Center in Redfield before settling in Aberdeen, where he lived and worked within the Aspire program. Aspire quickly became his new home and second family. He continued to live and work at Aspire until his passing.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents (Albert and Mary Elaine) and one sister (Cheryl-Rahm-McGrath). He is survived by three siblings: Curtis (Patty) Rahm of Turton, Carleen (Bruce) Dixon of Brookings and Carmen (Linda) Rahm of Kent, Wash.; by his Aspire family; and his close Aspire friend, Missy.
