The Raymond Town Board met in a regular meeting June 1, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. with all members present including Larry Brannan, Gale Filipek, and Eric Mehlberg. Also present was Bill Noethlich, Darrin Leetch and Carrie Reis.
The financial reports and minutes were approved with a motion by Filipek and seconded by Mehlberg. The following claims were paid: NW Energy $720.00; Cook's Wastepaper 480.03; Darrin Leetch 377.88; Carrie Reis 454.84; Clark County Courier 16.00; Larry Brannan 406.34; Gale Filipek 406.34; Eric Mehlberg 406.34; Dakota Portable Toilets 125.00; ITC 37.52; Hub International Insurance 5.088.00; Raymond Days 1,000.00; SDARWS 275.00, annual membership.
Brannan made a motion to donate $1,000.00 to the Raymond Redwing Days event with Filipek seconding. All in favor.
The Raymond Fire Department requested a temporary liquor license for the Raymond Redwing Days event. Filipek made a motion to approve with Brannan seconding. All in favor.
Discussion was held on property maintenance and those that still need to be addressed.
Bill Noethlich would like to put a culvert on his property and asked for some financial assistance by the town to do so. No action taken at this time.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned with a motion by Brannan and seconded by Filipek.
The next regular meeting will be July 6, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.
