4.22.26 Resignation, transfer approved by Clark School Board in special session

PROCEEDINGS
APRIL 7, 2026

The school board of Clark School District #12-2 convened in special session in Room 107 on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. The following members were in attendance, Malory McIntire, Lacey Ortberg, Ty Linneman, Troy Mudgett and Travis Peterson. Also in attendance: Superintendent - Travis Ahrens, Business Manager - Mary Rauscher, Elem Principal - Jon Redmond and MS/HS Principal - Jennifer Heggelund.

President McIntire called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m. with all members saying the Pledge of Allegiance.

No open forum.

Moved by Ortberg and seconded by Linneman to approve the agenda. All in favor.

No conflicts of interest or waivers.

Moved by Mudgett and seconded by Peterson to transfer Alicia Turnquist to head cross country coach effective for the 2026-2027 school year ($4,179 stipend). All in favor.

Moved by Peterson and seconded by Ortberg to approve resignation of Nick Dalton as HS CTE teacher and FFA advisor, effective at the end of the 2025-2026 school year. All in favor.

Moved by Mudgett and seconded by Linneman to enter executive session for negotiations SDCL 1-25-2(4) at 5:04 p.m. All in favor.

Open session resumed at 7:19 p.m.

Moved by Linneman and seconded by Peterson to adjourn April 7, 2026 special meeting at 7:19 p.m. All in favor.
